Career management and transition awareness workshop
Location: Alvéole, Théâtre du Jura, Delémont
Evidanse, which runs the DANCE season in Jura, Bernese Jura and Biel, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! Through a series of balls in eight partner venues in the canton of Jura and the French-speaking part of the canton of Berne, these dance evenings reflect the project, offering dances to learn, dances to watch and dances to experience freely.
In this occasion, Danse Transition association is offering an awareness-raising workshop on career management and transition for choreographic artists. At this meeting, topics such as the difficulties and realities of the profession are discussed. Precariousness, physical or psychological fatigue, are just some of the reasons to consider a new career. But how do you go about it? Danse Transition offers you the opportunity to reflect on and discuss these issues, with particular emphasis on the importance of anticipating a professional transition and the transferable skills that dancers can put to good use in a new profession.
